Fashion accessories are your successories!
A friend recently gave me a very funny birthday card. Two women are walking down the street with shopping bags in hand. One woman said to the other, “to stay young the doctor said to exercise and eat the right foods.” The other one replied “WHAT?! I thought he said ACCESSORISE and BUY MORE SHOES!”
Fashion accessories can turn a very ordinary, boring outfit into an amazingly, fabulous outfit. In fact, changing how you accessorise can turn that ordinary outfit into a whole array of different and exciting outfits.
Get a bit of a collection going with shoes, bags, jewellery, scarves, hats, glasses.
This doesn’t mean you go berserk, (although, some of you might) and rush out and spend a bomb on new stuff. You probably have some things in your wardrobe already and can gradually add to your collection as you come across those signature pieces that stand out and call you name.
My accessories collection includes some good solid colours that I love like black and white, red and purple. I then have my signature pieces that can be anything wild and zany with an explosion of colour!
If you can, display your accessories, close to where you dress. Have them on the wall, on hangers and jewellery displays, over chairs, or on racks. This makes it easier when choosing that perfect piece to compliment your outfit and make it stunning!
Glasses
If you are like me and have to wear glasses (only for reading but I am as blind as a bat without them!) then this is another great opportunity to add colour. Reading glasses are must have fashion accessories! Collect a variety of shapes and colours and play with different looks....and you will be able to read things too!!!
